GO Negosyo continues to roll out its entrepreneurship roadshow 3M on Wheels, featuring a powerhouse lineup of businessmen and entrepreneurship experts who volunteered to mentor micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs).
Alumni of the Harvard Business School and some of the country’s most successful businessmen gathered at SM Megamall in Mandaluyong City to participate in the free entrepreneurship event organized by Go Negosyo.
During the event, Go Negosyo founder Joey Concepcion thanked the alumni from the prestigious business school of the world’s most famous Ivy League university and the veteran mentors of Go Negosyo. Acting Trade Secretary Cristina Roque also gave her welcome address during the event, while Mandaluyong City Mayor Benhur Abalos sent his message of support through City Administrator Ernesto Victorino.
The mentors from Harvard Business School were alumni of the Owner/President Management Executive Education Program, designed to train executives to become entrepreneurial leaders.
Former ambassador Joey Antonio, lead the featured mentors, where he was joined by Go Negosyo’s adviser, comprising some of the country’s leading entrepreneurs and top business executives.
Luxe Beauty’s Anna Magkawas sat down for a chat with Mercato Centrale founder RJ Ledesma to give pointers to the audience on how to use social media and content creation to promote their businesses. The event was hosted by Betong Sumaya.
Students from the National Capital Region also came to avail of free entrepreneurship mentoring. Centro Escolar University, STI College Cubao, Saint Joseph College and Far Eastern University are just some of the universities that joined the program.
3M on Wheels, a program by the Philippine Center for Entrepreneurship (Go Negosyo), is the on-ground, nationwide mentoring program started in 2018 and inspired by the growing number of Filipinos turning to entrepreneurship to lift themselves out of poverty.
The program aims to give MSMEs access to the three M’s essential to successful entrepreneurship — Mentorship, Money and Market — reflecting its overarching mission of providing not just mentorship but also access to capital and markets.
Go Negosyo’s 3M on Wheels is held in shopping malls in large cities across the country.
The entrepreneurship roadshow has traveled to Cebu, Baguio, Bataan, Pampanga, Batangas and Laguna and is expected in other urban areas, including Pangasinan, La Union and Iloilo. Through these events, it reaches out to MSMEs from various industries like food, retail, agriculture, tourism and personal services.
During 3M on Wheels, participants receive one-on-one coaching from veteran entrepreneurs and successful business executives.
Finance service providers takes this opportunity to introduce entrepreneurs to facilities for small-business lending, while specialists in different marketing channels are available to introduce solutions that cover varying points from establishing physical stores and digital platforms to logistics solutions and digital payment platforms.
Participants can also visit the booths from potential franchise or business opportunities. Government agencies and official representatives are ready to assist the entrepreneurs in their regulatory affairs.
