After a long-awaited hiatus, the timeless musical “Miss Saigon” has made a triumphant return to the stages of the Philippines, captivating audiences with its powerful story, mesmerizing performances, and breathtaking production.
Full cast for the international tour of Cameron Mackintosh’s fresh rendition of Boublil and Schönberg’s MISS SAIGON has been unveiled. The tour will kick off in Manila before proceeding to other Asian regions yet to be disclosed.
The ensemble stars Filipino-Australians Abigail Adriano as Kim and Seann Miley Moore as the Engineer. Adriano, aged 19, gained recognition during the Australian leg of the show, joining esteemed Filipinas like Lea Salonga, Monique Wilson, Joanna Ampil, Carla Guevara-Laforteza, and Eva Noblezada in portraying the iconic role of Kim on Broadway and the West End. Alongside Adriano and Miley Moore, the cast features Nigel Huckle as Chris, Sarah Morrison as Ellen, Lewis Francis as John, and Laurence Mossman as Thuy.
Local talent Kiara Dario also makes her mark as Gigi, with previous acclaim for her lead role in Repertory Philippines’ Snow White and the Prince, where she earned a nomination for Best Performer in a Musical at the BroadwayWorld Philippines Awards. MISS SAIGON marks her debut on an international tour.

The Miss Saigon company, comprising 42 performers, includes a diverse array of talents such as Michael Boyle, Carlo Boumouglbay, Ellie Chan, Shannon Cheong, Celine Cleveland, David Duketis, Natasha Dumlao, Gelina Enriquez, Sara Haruta, Leyton Holmes, Jiho Hwang, Emily Huynh, Mikaila Imaguchi, Patrick Jeremy, Hamish Johnston, Nicholas Kong, Vi Lam, Winchester Lopez, Robbie Mejica, Bailey Nathan-Park, Tetsuya Okubo, Atsushi Okumura, David Ouch, Tony Oxybel, Paloma Renouf, Annabelle Rosewarne, Jack Connor Rowan, Trevor Santos, Louis Stockil, Asmara Soekotjo, Tamsyn Thomas, Brad Veitch, Aday Velasco, Louisa Vilinne, and Sam Ward.
Miss Saigon features music by Claude-Michel Schönberg, lyrics by Richard Maltby Jr. and Alain Boublil, adapted from the original French lyrics by Alain Boublil, with additional lyrics by Michael Mahler. The production is helmed by Laurence Connor, with musical staging by Bob Avian, additional choreography by Geoffrey Garratt, and production design by Totie Driver and Matt Kinley, based on an original concept by Adrian Vaux. Costume design is by Andreane Neofitou, lighting design by Bruno Poet, projections by Luke Halls, and sound design by Mick Potter. Orchestrations are by William David Brohn, music supervision by Alfonso Casado Trigo and Guy Simpson, with associate choreography by Richard Jones. The Asian tour production is directed by Jean-Pierre Van Der Spuy.
