LAS VEGAS — K-pop supergroup BTS brought the first night of the 2026 iHeartRadio Music Festival to a high-energy close with a fiery performance at T-Mobile Arena on Friday, September 18.
The seven-member group — RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook — delivered a four-song set featuring tracks from their latest album, ARIRANG, along with one of their earlier hits.
BTS opened the set with “SWIM,” the lead single from ARIRANG, before moving into “2.0,” another track from the album. The group then shifted to the fan-favorite “MIC Drop,” giving the Las Vegas crowd a performance of one of BTS’ well-known hits.
They closed the set with “FYA,” featuring fiery visuals and bursts of flames that added to the spectacle of their finale.
The performance marked BTS’ appearance at the two-day festival following their return to the stage after their extended group hiatus. Their latest album, ARIRANG, was released earlier in 2026 and marked the group’s return with new music.
BTS was among the major acts featured on the festival’s opening night, alongside Kenny Chesney, Weezer, Goo Goo Dolls, Cardi B, Zara Larsson and other performers.
The 2026 iHeartRadio Music Festival, presented by Capital One and hosted by Ryan Seacrest, was held September 18 and 19 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The second night featured performers including Benson Boone, LE SSERAFIM, Ciara, Lainey Wilson, Muse, Snoop Dogg, The Smashing Pumpkins and Major Lazer.
The festival was also made available to audiences through iHeartMedia radio stations across more than 150 markets, while Disney+ and Hulu served as the official streaming platforms for the event.
