BTS rapper J-Hope and American R&B singer Miguel have joined forces for a new single, Sweet Dreams, featuring a dreamy music video and a captivating fantasy theme.

J-Hope first previewed Sweet Dreams during the Seoul concerts of his ongoing 2025 Hope on the Stage world tour. The track has been described by his label, Big Hit Music, as an R&B pop song that acts as “a heartfelt serenade that expresses the genuine desire to boldly love and be loved.” In the full-English track, J-Hope sings about creating a cozy and unforgettable night for his significant other, while Miguel adds his soulful touch with the chorus.

The accompanying music video takes viewers on a journey through a strange world where floating houses, flying cars, and dancing dogs exist. J-Hope is seen living in this surreal setting, with Miguel making a brief cameo. The two artists deliver the memorable chorus:
“Yeah, sweet dreams come after hours / Nothing else thought out loud / You should never sleep alone / ‘Cause I’ll always take you home / When there’s nothing left but diamond necklace on you, girl.”

Sweet Dreams marks the K-pop idol’s second music release since completing his mandatory military service in October 2024. He and Pharrell Williams were previously featured on a Don Toliver single titled LV Bag.
On February 21, J-Hope released LV Bag, a collaboration with Pharrell Williams, Don Toliver, and Speedy, which quickly made waves. According to the latest Billboard chart released on March 4, LV Bag debuted at #83 on the Hot 100 and charted highly in several categories. It ranked #43 on the Global (excluding the U.S.) chart, #48 on the Global 200, and reached #3 on Rap Digital Song Sales and #5 on R&B/Hip-Hop Digital Song Sales. Additionally, the track recorded #8 in Digital Song Sales, #15 on Hot Rap Songs, and #27 on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs. This marks J-Hope’s fifth entry on the Hot 100 chart for his solo songs, further solidifying his presence in global music.

In a remarkable achievement, Sweet Dreams debuted at #1 on the US iTunes Songs Chart, making J-Hope the first and only K-artist to reach the top spot on the chart this year. Sweet Dreams also debuted #4 on i-Tunes UK!
J-Hope is also set to make his solo late-night TV debut on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on March 10. Fans can look forward to his performance in April when he brings his Hope on the Stage solo tour to Manila, performing at the SM Mall of Asia. The tour will take him to 14 cities across the globe, with stops in North America from March to April, followed by concerts in the Philippines, Japan, Singapore, Thailand, and more.

The artist first released his solo mixtape Hope World in 2018, followed by his debut album Jack in the Box in 2022. In 2024, J-Hope dropped the EP Hope on the Street Vol. 1, further expanding his solo career.
Additionally, J-Hope will release his digital single Sweet Dreams worldwide on March 7 at 2 p.m. KST. At 1 p.m., an offline fan event titled Sweet Dreamland will take place with 613 ARMY members, and fans who cannot attend in person can join via live streaming on the superfan platform Weverse.
