Last year, MNLToday.ph was very fortunate to attend the media launch that happened at the Pardon My French Restaurant. Literary rockstars graced the event with Executive Director Charisse Aquino-Tugade heading the National Book Development Board (NBDB) in the launching of The Philippine Book Festival. For thjs year, the event is expected to be more exciting because it will not be your typical book fair. It’s a vibrant festival that brings together authors, publishers, readers, and enthusiasts for an immersive literary experience. This year’s festival is themed around four of the country’s most beloved festivals: Pahiyas, Panagbënga, Tuna Festival, and Dinagyang, promising a colorful and culturally rich atmosphere.
