Jung Hoseok, or popularly known as J-Hope, the multi-talented artist from global phenomenon BTS, is ready to make his solo mark with the launch of his highly anticipated Hope on the Stage world tour. This marks his first-ever solo tour, showcasing his individual artistry outside of BTS. The tour, which will run from February to June, includes performances in 15 cities worldwide, with double-night shows at each stop.
The journey begins with a three-night opening at Seoul’s KSPO Dome on February 28, before J-Hope takes the stage in major cities like Brooklyn, Chicago, Mexico City, Manila, and Osaka. The grand finale will take place in Osaka on May 31 and June 1.
This announcement follows J-Hope’s recent discharge from mandatory military service in South Korea, completed in late 2024. Before his enlistment in April 2023, J-Hope released his debut solo album, Jack in the Box, in July 2022. Reflecting on his solo debut, J-Hope told Rolling Stone: “It’s half nervousness, half excitement. Being the first to go solo, I feel a sense of responsibility and definitely some pressure.”
His latest solo project, Hope on the Street, dropped during his military service, accompanied by a six-part documentary series that kept fans engaged. Now, with his return, J-Hope is prepared to continue his solo journey. Adding to the excitement, the artist teased “new music on the way” in March 2025, hinting at a fresh chapter in his career.
In a heartfelt message on WeVerse, J-Hope addressed the recent devastation caused by wildfires in California, where he is set to perform in April. “I feel deeply saddened and worried after hearing about the severe damage caused by the wildfires in California,” he wrote. “I hope we can all meet safely and in good health. My deepest condolences to those affected. Please stay safe.”
Fans eagerly awaiting the tour can look forward to further updates on ticket sales and additional details. Information for the Seoul concerts is already available via WeVerse.
With Hope on the Stage, J-Hope continues to shine as a beacon of inspiration, setting a new precedent for his solo career while connecting with fans around the world.
