Development on the condormitel brand University Pad (UPad) Residences officially commenced at its new location near De La Salle University (DLSU) Laguna in Biñan. Construction began on April 16, 2026, marking another milestone in bringing modern, vibrant student housing solutions to Southern Luzon. The project is projected to wrap up construction within an 18-month timeframe.
Spanning a total floor plan of 6,000 square meters, the upcoming four-story establishment is purposefully designed as a home-away-from-home that balances academic focus, independence, and communal interaction. Once completed, the residence will accommodate over 415 beds with diverse layout configurations including solo rooms, two-bedroom sharing, four-bedroom sharing, and dedicated accessible rooms for persons with disabilities (PWD).

The property will feature student lounges, kitchenettes, laundry provisions, high-speed internet, and wheelchair-accessible elevators. These amenities aim to provide young residents with a comfortable environment where they can learn, study, and unwind alongside their peers.

Reytech Construction, a firm with a background of over 250 completed projects nationwide and a 100 percent completion rate, serves as the designated builder. Commercial Director Jay Pantangco noted that the construction team is prioritizing safety, durability, and high-occupancy space planning while maintaining a seamless build process within an active academic surroundings. Utilizing innovations such as pre-engineered buildings and adhering to ISO standards for quality and safety, the builder aims to bring international quality standards to the project.

The new Biñan branch joins UPad’s growing portfolio of condormitels and hospitality properties, which includes established sites in Taft, Manila, and the University Belt in Sampaloc, alongside the UPad Hotel in Malate.
