With no setlist spoilers, Ben&Ben turned Sarangola into a surprise trip through their musical history and a heartfelt farewell to their nine-piece era.
What happens when you go to a Ben&Ben concert without knowing what songs they’re going to play?
You go back in time.
That was the magic of Sarangola, where Ben&Ben kept their setlist under wraps and let the music do the revealing. Instead of knowing what was coming next, fans had to wait for the first notes of every song, and every familiar melody came with its own little surprise.
But the biggest surprise was the journey itself.

Ben&Ben took the crowd through their discography album by album, starting with their most recent releases and gradually making their way back to their earliest songs.
It felt like walking backward through time.
With every album, the atmosphere shifted. Newer songs brought us back to the present, while the older tracks opened the door to memories from years ago. Songs that once lived in headphones, playlists, road trips, late-night conversations, and different chapters of our lives suddenly came alive onstage again.
And because nobody knew exactly what was coming next, every familiar intro became a moment of its own.
There were cheers of recognition. There were voices singing before the first verse even began. And there were songs that hit differently simply because of how much time had passed since we first heard them.
By the time the concert reached its final stretch, it no longer felt like we were simply watching a band perform.
We were looking back at their journey, and in a way, our own.

The nostalgia of Sarangola carried an even deeper meaning as the concert marked Jam Villanueva’s final performance with Ben&Ben as part of the nine-piece band.
Jam announced in December 2025 that 2026 would be her final year with the group. In her announcement, she reflected on the eight years she spent with Ben&Ben, the friendships and chosen family she found along the way, and the experiences that helped reshape how she envisioned her life.
She pointed to two significant moments: getting married in 2024 and suffering a wrist injury in April 2025. She also shared that she had been dealing with De Quervain’s tendinosis and drummer’s wrist, which had taken a toll on her drumming.
But rather than treating her final year as simply an ending, Jam wanted to be more present and intentional with the band and their fans, making the most of the remaining opportunities to perform together.
And that intention could be felt during Sarangola.
Near the end of the night, Jam shared a heartfelt message to her bandmates and the fans who had been part of their journey.

Then, she returned to the drums.
One last time.
Performing alongside the band of nine, the moment felt less like a goodbye and more like a celebration of everything they had built together.
After spending the entire night moving backward through Ben&Ben’s musical history, the concert had arrived at its most personal chapter.
The band had taken us from their newest songs all the way back to where it began. Now, they were giving us one last memory of Ben&Ben as nine.

And just like that, Sarangola came full circle.
We didn’t know the setlist.
We didn’t know which memory would come rushing back next.
We simply let the songs take us there.
For one magical night, Sarangola wasn’t just a concert. It was a walk back through time, with Ben&Ben providing the soundtrack and one unforgettable final chapter with the band of nine.
