Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) President and CEO Ritsu Imaeda met with key government officials during the recent Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS), reinforcing the company’s commitment to collaborative engagement with public sector stakeholders driving the local automotive industry.
Among those in attendance were Bureau of Customs (BOC) Port of Batangas District Collector Carmelita Talusan and Department of Trade and Industry–Board of Investments (DTI-BOI) Executive Director Corazon Halili-Dichosa.
MMPC maintains a long-standing partnership with the BOC Port of Batangas, a major trade gateway facilitating the seamless importation of vehicles and auto components. As one of the nation’s leading automotive importers, MMPC continues to prioritize close coordination with customs authorities to streamline operations and enhance trade efficiency.
Simultaneously, MMPC works alongside the DTI-BOI to align its investments and long-term business strategy with national economic objectives. This includes supporting government-led electrification initiatives as MMPC prepares to introduce local production of hybrid electric vehicles (HEVs) to its manufacturing pipeline.
