SINGAPORE — Sun Life Philippines earned two major recognitions at the Insurance Asia Awards 2026, receiving accolades for product innovation and employee engagement that underscore its commitment to expanding financial protection and enhancing customer experience.
The company was named Insurance Product Innovation of the Year – Philippines for Sun Life EasyLink Protect, while its CX Factor Awards and Feedback Ecosystem won Employee Engagement Initiative of the Year – Philippines. The awards recognize insurers that demonstrate excellence in developing customer-focused solutions and fostering a strong workplace culture.
Sun Life said EasyLink Protect was designed to address longstanding challenges that prevent many Filipinos from obtaining life insurance, including complicated medical underwriting requirements and affordability concerns.

The investment-linked insurance plan offers guaranteed issue coverage without requiring medical examinations, making long-term financial protection more accessible to underserved individuals and families.
Meanwhile, the company’s employee engagement initiative was recognized for transforming customer feedback into a structured system that supports employee development and service excellence.

Through its Feedback Ecosystem and CX Factor Awards, Sun Life links customer commendations directly to employee recognition, encouraging frontline teams to continuously improve service quality while strengthening a customer-centric culture across the organization.
“We thank our Clients for their trust, and our employees and advisors for their dedication in living our purpose every day,” said JJ Moreno, Country Head and Chief Executive Officer of Sun Life Philippines. He added that the company remains committed to helping more Filipinos achieve lifetime financial security and live healthier lives.
The Insurance Asia Awards recognize insurers across the region that have demonstrated excellence in innovation, operational performance, and customer service. Sun Life said the latest honors reflect its continued efforts to develop accessible financial solutions while fostering a workplace culture driven by customer experience and employee engagement.
