On February 28, 2025, J-Hope, the beloved member of BTS and fondly called “Hobi”, has officially kicked-off his highly anticipated solo world tour, “HOPE ON THE STAGE,” at the KSPO Dome in Seoul, South Korea. This marks not only his return to the stage after completing his mandatory military service last year but also his first-ever world tour as a solo artist.

Thousands of enthusiastic fans, known as ARMY, filled the venue, bringing an electric atmosphere to the concert. The setlist featured an exciting mix of J-Hope’s solo hits, such as “Hope World,” “Arson,” and “Neuron,” from his mixtapes and albums along with popular BTS tracks, ensuring fans were treated to a blend of his solo artistry and BTS roots.

He didn’t forget to perform his other solo singles such as “Chicken Noodle Soup” and “On The Street” which later on became part of his album,“Hope On the Street”. He even performed live his pre-released song “Sweet Dreams”.
“Sweet Dreams,” is set to premiere on March 7, 2025. This collaboration with R&B artist Miguel explores themes of longing and love, and fans are eagerly anticipating its release as part of his growing solo career.
J-Hope’s solo debut comes during a period of hiatus for BTS, as the members fulfill their mandatory military enlistments. Despite the group’s pause on new music, ARMY has remained supportive of each member’s individual endeavors. J-Hope expressed his excitement to perform for his fans during pre-concert interviews, saying, “I’ve waited for this moment to share my music, something I’ve always loved doing.”

The concert’s success was bolstered by the implementation of strict ticketing measures aimed at combating scalping and overpriced resales. SM Tickets introduced a system where tickets were linked directly to buyers’ accounts, making them non-transferable. This was a move widely appreciated by fans, who were grateful to avoid inflated prices and ensure that true fans had the opportunity to attend the concert.
The “HOPE ON THE STAGE” tour includes multiple stops across the globe, including performances in the United States, Mexico, Japan, and several Asian countries. His Asian leg will include shows in cities like Manila, Osaka, and Taipei, where he will perform three consecutive shows per city before heading to the next destination. The international elements of the tour also cater to fans who speak different languages, further showcasing J-Hope’s commitment to making his performances accessible to his global audience.

Fans expressed their gratitude and love for J-Hope’s gesture, with many waving signs of appreciation on his music, even OT7 sign board during the concert. The excitement surrounding the tour is palpable, with multiple shows already sold out, making it one of the most anticipated events of the year.
