Global Esports are finally champions.
The organization defeated Nongshim RedForce 3–2 in the VCT Pacific Stage 2 Grand Final, securing its first-ever VCT Pacific championship and completing a breakthrough season in the region.
The Finals matchup was a rematch of the Upper Final, where Nongshim had defeated GE on September 4 and sent them into the lower bracket. Global Esports responded by defeating T1 to earn another shot at Nongshim, setting up a second meeting between the two teams with the Pacific title on the line.
This time, GE finished the job
The victory marks a major breakthrough for an organization that has spent years competing in the Pacific VALORANT scene.
Global Esports have steadily established themselves among the region’s contenders, but Stage 2 finally saw the team turn that consistency into a championship. The title also sends GE to VALORANT Champions 2026 in Shanghai as Pacific’s first seed, giving the roster another opportunity to make its mark internationally.
The championship also carries individual significance for two Filipino players on the roster: Patrick “PatMen” Mendoza and Xavier “xavi8k” Juan.
For PatMen, this is his second VCT trophy, following his Masters Toronto 2025 victory with Paper Rex. He now adds a Pacific championship to his résumé with Global Esports.
For xavi8k, the title comes during his rookie VCT season as Global Esports’ in-game leader. Taking on one of the most demanding roles on the roster, he helped guide the team through its campaign and now finishes his first VCT season as a Pacific champion.
Their milestones add another layer to a championship built by the entire roster.
Stage 2 represents a defining moment for Global Esports. After years of competing at the highest level in Pacific, the organization has finally turned its aspirations into a title.
The Grand Final was the final step in a demanding playoff run, but the achievement belongs to the whole team—from preparation and leadership to the individual performances that carried them through the biggest moments.
Now, Global Esports turn their attention to Shanghai, where they will represent Pacific as the region’s top seed.
