MANILA, Philippines — A star-studded crowd gathered at the Proscenium Theater in Rockwell Center, Makati, for an intimate evening with Grammy-winning singer John Legend.
The acclaimed musician brought his “An Evening of Songs & Stories” to Manila, treating Filipino audiences to a special theater experience that combined his signature music with personal stories from his career.
The September 3 event drew several notable personalities from the Philippine entertainment, business, fashion and social scenes, who came together to witness Legend perform live in the intimate Rockwell venue.

Unlike a large-scale arena concert, the Manila show offered audiences a more personal setting, allowing fans to experience Legend’s vocals and storytelling up close.
Legend, a 13-time Grammy Award winner and EGOT recipient, is known for global hits including “All of Me,” “Ordinary People,” “Tonight,” and “Save Room.” His Manila engagement is part of his international “An Evening of Songs & Stories” tour.

The Proscenium Theater, which has a capacity of around 700 seats, provided a fitting backdrop for the performance, giving guests a close view of the international superstar throughout the evening.
The Manila stop is also notable as part of Legend’s Southeast Asian tour, giving Filipino fans a rare opportunity to see the singer in a more intimate concert format.
The event continues today, September 4, with Legend scheduled for another performance at the Proscenium Theater.
The gala added another high-profile event to Manila’s increasingly busy entertainment calendar, with international artists making their way to the Philippines for intimate concerts and special performances.
