A new album has been released from one of the member of P-Pop Boygroup SB19.
Josh Cullen or JC to his fans, was nothing but excited to release his first solo full-length album entitled “Lost and Found” which was composed of eight tracks that talks about his personal experiences, such as openness, pain, and one’s vulnerability, the album showcases Josh’s ability to translate his personal traumas into a universal experience that heals both the artist and his listeners.
The album is such a discovery of how Josh fight the hardest battles of life to finally regaining his strength to taking control of it in a way that he conveys hope and resilience all throughout.
His first full length album has been very special to Josh as ““This album explores themes of pain and suffering, redemption, and the strength of human resilience, inspired by my inner truth. In Lost & Found, I wrote about the pain that never truly goes away, the trauma that lingers long after we think our wounds have healed, and discovering strength within ourselves,” Josh told Billboard PH during his interview.
The 30 years Hip-Pop acclaimed musician’s album was all but bare and the clear reflection of his observation of the industry’s many flaws, while seamlessly interweaving painful recollections from his childhood amidst the backing of genres such as emo, pop-punk, alt-rock, hip-hop, and R&B. One of his hit from the album, was “Sumaya” which was released last June 2, and followed by Silent Cries last August 30, 2024.
With the release of the album, Josh is also dropped a series of music videos, including one for the single “No Control”. This is the second video from the album to be released, following the drop of its lead single “Silent Cries.”
Josh has recently came back from South Korea with his members from SB19 as the group was chosen by Billboard Philippines as the Philippine representatives for “Billboard’s K Power 100” in Seoul, South Korea together with fellow P-pop phenomenon’s BINI. Josh, together with his SB19 members, performed their hit single “GENTO”.
