League of Legends gave birth to many talented gamers since its professional debut in 2009. Michael Santana A.K.A “Imaqtpie” is one of the people who took advantage of the game and get massive following from it.
Imaqtpie’s professional gaming career began in 2011 when he was a part of the team Oh God Bears. Though he did not want to play competitively at first, when he was asked by Scarra to join his team, Imaqtpie joined Rock Solid as their starting AD carry, replacing OXICLEAN. The team went on to win the National ESL Premier League and were subsequently picked up by Team Dignitas. Imaqtpie played with Dignitas as their starting AD carry until October 2014, when he stepped down, presumably to pursue streaming full-time.
Michael is now a full-time streamer on Twitch.tv. He now has over 2 million followers and almost 305 million total stream views. His popularity over millions of League followers is outstanding. Now that he moved to California, close to LCS studios, will he return to being a Pro?
