Universal Robina Corporation (URC) Flour is officially taking its Sugod Bakery Caravan across the sea, steering its state-of-the-art Sugod Bakery Van to Mindanao for the very first time. Following highly successful legs in Lucban and Sariaya this milestone journey marks the mobile bakery’s first voyage outside Luzon, aimed at directly reaching and empowering baking communities across the region.
URC Flour’s Sugod Bakery Caravan will join hands with the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Davao for the vibrant Kadayawan Festival, before rolling into Cagayan de Oro to join the celebrations for the Higalaay Festival.
Designed as a rolling hub of innovation, the URC Flour Sugod Bakery Van offers local bakery owners, aspiring entrepreneurs, and bakers an interactive, hands-on opportunity to experience baking techniques up close. Attendees can look forward to live technical demonstrations, interactive upskilling sessions, and practical tips designed to elevate their craft and modernize their day-to-day operations.

The caravan will first make its stop in Davao City on August 14 and 15 as part of the Kadayawan Festival, followed by its visit to Cagayan de Oro City on August 25 and 26 during the Higalaay Festival celebrations.
