Mandaluyong City — Yesterday, I had the chance to attend an event I had long been excited about: the 10th Anniversary celebration of one of BTS’ most-acclaimed albums, Hwa Yang Yeon Hwa (화양연화), more popularly known as The Most Beautiful Moment in Life or simply HYYH. First released in 2015, the album has become a cornerstone of the group’s legacy, shaping both their artistry and the lives of countless fans around the world. This event was hosted and organized by “Young Forever Club”.

The anniversary gathering was held at K:ita Café in Mandaluyong. Even before stepping inside, the atmosphere was already palpable. Fans in full BTS-inspired outfits lined the registration area, claiming their event kits and freebies. Walking through the hallway felt like entering a music show, complete with playful decorations and, of course, life-sized OT7 standees of the seven members that greeted attendees like old friends.

Inside, the café transformed into a mini-celebration of both music and fandom. Fans ordered food and drinks while being surrounded by concessionaires offering BTS merchandise from sellers such as Pureautumnarts, Bling It On, and Purple Trinkets. The walls carried the imprint of HYYH—posters, concept photos, and even a replica of the iconic bus stop from the Spring Day music video. A special HYYH wall encouraged attendees to vote for their favorite tracks from the trilogy of albums that defined the era.

On screen, music videos from the HYYH era played on loop—Save Me, Butterfly, I Need U, Dope, Fire, and Blood, Sweat & Tears—filling the venue with nostalgia. Adding to the festivity was the celebration of September and October birthdays of three members: Jungkook (September 1), RM (September 12), and Jimin (October 13).
What stood out most, however, was not just the music or the décor, but the sense of community. Fans sang along, exchanged photocards and freebies, joined raffles, and shared stories about their biases. No one left empty-handed, but more importantly, no one left feeling alone.

As a fan and as a writer, I was struck by how events like this reflect the very heart of the ARMY community. BTS’ discography is vast and ever-evolving, yet gatherings like this remind us that their music is more than just songs—it is a shared experience, a bridge between strangers turned friends. Even for those who were not yet fans during the original release of HYYH, the celebration made us feel like we were part of that history.

With BTS now gearing up for their much-anticipated reunion and new album in 2026, the excitement only grows. Attending this anniversary celebration was more than just revisiting an era—it was proof that BTS’ Most Beautiful Moment in Life continues to live on, not just in music, but in the hearts of ARMYs everywhere.
Nice seeing you, ARMYs. Borahae!
