Mask off! According to their updated guidelines, movie theater chains in the United States are no longer required to wear a mask. These for the people who are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
“In accordance with CDC guidelines, masks are not required for guests who are fully vaccinated,” AMC said on its website, referring to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. “If you are not fully vaccinated, we ask that you continue to wear a mask throughout the theater unless actively enjoying food or drinks.”
For those who are not fully vaccinated they will be mandated to wear their mask inside the cinemas, social distancing will also be observed and proper sanitations protocols, AMC Entertainment, Cinemark and Regal Cinemas mentioned on their websites
These will be a good time for moviegoers now that we have the many anticipated line up of movies coming up this year, like the Fast 9, Black Widow the movie, A quiet place, Cruella, a prequel story about the villain in “101 Dalmatians.
