Richard So, executive vice president and retail banking sector head at Metrobank, said the tie up allows individuals to conveniently send money to Metrobank account holders.
As part of the service, individuals who need to send cash to Metrobank account holders need to go to the nearest PERA HUB branch to accomplish the remittance form, and show a valid ID. Senders could remit between P100 and P25,000, while recipients could easily withdraw the money over-the-counter in any of the Metrobank branches and ATMs.
