During the 150th Malasakit Center’s opening on March 1 at the Batanes General Hospital in Basco, Batanes’ capital city, Senator Christopher “Bong” Go vowed to keep putting forth and supporting initiatives to enhance access to high-quality healthcare in remote places around the nation.

Go established the first Malasakit Center in Cebu City in 2018 while serving as the President’s Special Assistant with the intention of providing patients who are especially underprivileged and incapable of paying for care with easy access to high-quality medical care.
