The energy inside Hydro Superclub in Quezon City reached a fever pitch last weekend as the Red Bull Dance Your Style Manila Qualifier 2026 took over the floor. In a night defined by raw talent and high-stakes improvisation, the local dance community gathered to witness a spectacle where the only rule was to “wow” the crowd.

Unlike traditional dance battles where a panel of experts determines the victor, Red Bull Dance Your Style places the ultimate power in the hands of the audience. This one-of-a-kind competition challenges dancers to freestyle to a random selection of music—testing their ability to adapt and innovate in real time to everything from timeless classics to current Top 40 hits. The atmosphere was electric, with every pop, lock, and drop met by a sea of glowing blue and red fans held high by the spectators.

After a series of grueling rounds that saw some of the city’s most versatile movers go head-to-head, Izzy Johnson emerged as the night’s big winner. Facing off against the formidable Surge in an intense final battle, Izzy’s creativity and stage presence won over the Hydro Superclub crowd, officially qualifying him for the Manila leg and securing his spot in the National Finals. Other standout performers who kept the energy high included J-Hop, Q, Reflex, and Pride XCIX, each contributing to a night that celebrated the diverse styles of the Philippine street dance scene.
