BTS member J-Hope is set to embark on his first solo tour, “Hope on the Stage,” with performances in Manila, Philippines, on April 12 and 13, 2025, at the SM Mall of Asia Arena. This marks the first time a BTS member will hold a solo concert in the Philippines since the group’s “Wings” tour in 2017.

The “Hope on the Stage” tour began in Seoul, South Korea, with three consecutive shows from February 28 to March 2, 2025, at the KSPO Dome. Following the Seoul performances, J-Hope took the tour to various cities across the United States, including Brooklyn, Chicago, and Los Angeles. The Manila concerts will be the first stops in Asia, with subsequent performances scheduled in Saitama, Japan; Singapore; Jakarta, Indonesia; Bangkok, Thailand; Macau; Taipei, Taiwan; and Osaka, Japan.

These concerts are particularly significant as they represent J-Hope’s return to the stage following his mandatory military service, which concluded on October 17, 2024. The tour’s title, “Hope on the Stage,” references his six-part documentary, “Hope on the Street,” which premiered on March 28, 2024, and traces his roots as a dancer.

For fans in Manila, ticket information was released on February 3, 2025, with prices ranging from PHP 4,000 to PHP 22,500. A VIP Stage Package was offered, including benefits such as access to the soundcheck party, early entry, and exclusive merchandise. The VIP Hope Package included all these benefits, plus access to a special send-off party for J-Hope after the show. Tickets were available through SM Tickets.
J-Hope’s “Hope on the Stage” tour not only highlights his individual artistry but also underscores the global reach and enduring popularity of BTS. As the tour progresses, fans worldwide eagerly anticipate the opportunity to experience his dynamic performances firsthand.

Another milestone for J-Hope as a landmark moment occurred on April 4 and 6, 2025, when he headlined Los Angeles’ BMO Stadium. This achievement made him the first solo Korean artist to headline a stadium concert in the United States. Reflecting on this milestone, J-Hope expressed, “I’m just so grateful for the opportunity to perform at such a big venue.” He acknowledged the support of his fans, stating, “Without them, none of this would be possible.”

In addition to his touring accomplishments, J-Hope’s musical endeavors continue to thrive. His recent single, “Sweet Dreams,” featuring Grammy-winning R&B artist Miguel, showcases his versatility and commitment to delivering fresh content to his audience. The track blends soulful pop and R&B elements, highlighting both artists’ unique styles. Both “Sweet Dreams” and “Mona Lisa” were surprisingly played on tour, and a third single is planned for the Asian leg, which kicks off in the Phillipines next weekend.
J-Hope’s “Hope on the Stage” tour not only underscores his individual artistry but also solidifies his status as a trailblazer in the global music scene.
