Upon the large decreasing cases of COVID-19 in Davao City, Temporary Treatment Monitoring Facilities (TTMF) may now be able to accommodate more patients including those who experience mild and asymptomatic cases.
Davao’s task force against COVID-19 spokesperson, Dr. Michelle Schlosser stated that active cases in-home quarantines must continue their isolation in TTMFs. Earlier this year, home isolations were approved for mild and asymptomatic patients in order to prioritize those in dire need.
In addition to that, restrictions and protocols in the city were also updated where plastic barriers in public transportation are no longer required but may still be installed voluntarily. On the other hand, face shields also become voluntary except in places with 3Cs: crowded places, close-contact settings, and confined and enclosed spaces.
