Angkas, a motorcycle ride-hailing company is giving free rides for medical frontliners in partnership with Manila Mayor Isko Moreno and with the help of police-led Joint Task Force.
Angkas provide free rides and protective shields to healthcare workers in Manila as part of its campaign to help the medical frontliners during the community quarantine.
Angkas bikers deployed to six hospitals in the city to ensure that health workers get home safe after their shifts. The free rides was offered only until Aug. 18.
And recently, Angkas partnered with the Philippine National Police, Department of the Interior and Local Government and National Task Force on COVID-19 to provide free shields and rides to frontliners.
