MANILA, Philippines — Tony Award-winning singer and actress Lea Salonga could not contain her excitement after attending the Busan stop of BTS’ highly anticipated “Arirang” concert, describing the experience as exhausting yet unforgettable.
Salonga shared her concert experience on social media after watching global K-pop supergroup BTS perform at the Busan Asiad Main Stadium on June 12. Posting a photo from the event on her Instagram Stories, the Broadway icon expressed her enthusiasm despite the physical toll of the concert.

“Feet hurt… legs are rubbery… but boy what a day! Seeing BTS in Busan was worth it!” she wrote.
The singer later shared another photo on Instagram, showing herself holding BTS’ official light stick inside the stadium.
“Plenty to unpack… but here’s this for now. Happy Festa!!!” Salonga captioned the post.


Salonga’s admiration for BTS is well known among fans. Over the years, she has openly spoken about how the group’s music helped her navigate the challenges brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic. In previous interviews, she recalled discovering BTS through their hit song “Dynamite” during lockdown and said the group’s music helped lift her spirits during a difficult period of isolation.
