Whether it’s an award-winning chocolate cake, strawberry shortcake, or any of their cakes celebrating the goodness of Pinoy-grown flavors, every confection from the Honeybon kitchen will surely delight on the first bite.
Last month, in celebration of Buwan ng Wika, Honeybon Cakes launched the Pinoy tasts in their cakes.
Honeybon created the cake iteration of this classic Filipino dessert. The Classic Sans Rival has layers of light and chewy meringue with silky buttercream frosting in between. A generous sprinkle of crushed toasted cashews tops the cake, giving it a new pleasure of texture.
Crowned with a halo made of ube buttercream frosting, the aptly named Saint Ube Cake is one of Honeybon’s best-sellers for a good reason. It features vanilla custard in between layers of ube-flavored chiffon. The entire cake is covered with smooth ube buttercream frosting, ube cake crumbs, and of course the ube buttercream halo on top.
Their signature Mango Royale Cake and Mango Cheesecake take pride in showcasing the best and the sweetest mangoes in the world. The Mango Royale Cake has layers of tropical-inspired meringue layered with slivers of locally sourced mangoes and light cream to hold everything together. Like a true royal, the cake is crowned with golden mango spheres, glistening like jewels
The Mango Cheesecake combines the best of the East and the West. It has a graham crust topped with a rich cheesecake layer and finished with a layer of creamy yet light mousse and a beautifully arranged rosette made with slices of locally sourced ripe mangoes.
Honeybon Cakes are available for delivery via www.honeybon.ph and at their stores in SM Megamall in Mandaluyong City and Festival Mall in Alabang.
