One of Justin Bieber’s many accolades in the music business is his all-time high record for Spotify’s monthly listeners.
The singer-songwriter of iconic hit songs such as “Baby,” “Love Yourself,” “Intentions” and many more, has become Spotify’s number one artist after hitting the record for monthly listeners on the platform.
Bieber’s monthly listenership peaked at 83.3 million, the biggest in Spotify’s history.
This is a huge accomplishment for the Canadian singer, since no other artist has ever come close to 80 million monthly listeners on the streaming service.
Following Bieber’s lead as the most monthly listeners on Spotify, The Weeknd is in second place with 74.53 million, followed by Ed Sheeran with 72.41 million, Dua Lipa as the most streamed female artist with 65.5 million, and Doja Cat with 60.84 million.
Ariana Grande formerly held the top place for Spotify’s monthly listeners, but her number has dropped to 56.7 million.
Bieber also now holds the number one spot on Billboard Hot 100 with his recent song ‘Stay’ featuring Kid Laroi — stealing the spot from BTS’ ‘Butter.’
