Microsoft Philippines Inc. was recognized by HR Asia last 2021, its second consecutive year as one of the best companies to work for in Asia.
The company received this distinction for its outstanding performance in workplace excellence, human capital development, and outstanding employee engagement, HR Asia said.
“Our efforts and our commitment to our people are built on our mission as an organization: to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more,” Grace Dela Cruz, human resources director of Microsoft Philippines, said.
“We’re honored by this distinction and in receiving it, reaffirm our commitment to our team to continue providing them with an environment where they can bring their authentic selves every day—one that is diverse and inclusive—and most importantly, a platform where they can bring their passions, and be empowered to drive positive outcomes for themselves and those around them.”
Microsoft PH said its strategy focuses on empowering its employees through proactive learning and development, rewards and recognition, extensive employee engagement and holistic health and wellness programs built on a diverse, inclusive and accessible culture.
Taking the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic into consideration, the organization increased its efforts to prioritize the safety and wellbeing of its people, by expanding its overall healthcare support framework for employees and their families as well as holistic wellness programs to support mental and physical wellbeing.
