Supermarket business of SM, SM markets has reinforced its digital infrastructure to be able to serve more communities
A one-stop shopping platform, SM markets online is targeting to be available in 100 locations covering most of the key areas in the country. The platform is currently available in 70 branches in Metro Manila, key cities in Luzon, Visayas, Cebu, and Davao.
“To serve our customers safely and conveniently, we continue to innovate and broaden our digital presence to offer more touchpoints for our customers and communities in synergy with our brick and mortar stores. Our main focus is improving our service all the time to give customers the best shopping experience,” SM Supermarket president Jojo Tagbo said.
With an option for pick-up or delivery and cash or card payment, SM Markets Online is a one-stop shopping platform for those who prefer to do their shopping online and want value for their hard-earned money.
The consumers are able to purchase basic necessities from its online shop including fresh meat, poultry, seafood, fruits and vegetables, canned goods, bread. condiments, snacks and beverages.
SM market also mentioned that the customer can have easy access to baby baby needs, personal care items, household products, pet food, international favorites and of course, the house brand SM Bonus.
SM Markets also bolstered its omni-channel presence with its recent partnership with GrabMart. With selected SM Markets available on the online delivery platform, shoppers can book from SM’s wide assortment of grocery products across SM Supermarket, SM Hypermarket, and Savemore Market, and have their orders delivered straight to their homes in just an hour.
“Supermarkets remain a primary and essential shopping destination especially during this pandemic. We will continue to innovate and adapt to evolving customer needs as they look towards new shopping channels in the new normal,” Arnold Daluz, President at SM Hypermarket said.
