NBA prospect Kai Sotto arrived in the Philippines Tuesday night and will be joining Gilas Pilipinas this 2021 Fiba Asia Cup qualifiers this month in Doha, Qatar.

Kai who is currently signed with NBA G league together with the top prospects including the potential 2022 first overall pick Jalen Green.
The youngster had agreed to join Gilas in its final three games against South Korea and Indonesia. Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP) President Al S. Panlilio said Sotto will have at least one week of training with the national team before it leaves for Doha, Qatar for the final window of the qualifiers set Feb. 18 to 22.
