Last April 8, 2019, MNLToday.ph got a special invitation from GeiserMaclang’s Pam Sales, for the launch of Pilipinas Shell’ most slate brand ambassadors featuring Drew Arellano, Maine Mendoza, and Nico Bolzico. The ambassadors who are not just the faces of the Shell brands but are living proof and testament to their association with the brand.
More than just the regular endorsers, Shell Philippines is truly focused on finding the right endorser for their brand. Not just a pretty face, Drew, Maine, and Nico all had their Shell story to tell.
I have had the good opportunity to know celebrity Dad, brand ambassador, and travel host and fitness advocate Drew Arellano. He was a teammate of mine in De La Salle University’s Dragon Boat Team during my college days. And up to now, every time he sees me, he always greets me with a smile and a firm handshake. And I am very happy for Drew as he is now one of the most sought after brands ambassador and host mainly because he is really credible and gets to use all the brands he endorses.
Biyahero for life, Drew is a member of the popular BrapPack, a group of driving, outdoorsy men who bond over long motorbike rides in and out of the city while promoting road safety. And this makes Drew a perfect ambassador for Shell V-Power is that he uses this for work and play. During his long rides with his motorcycle, with his SUV as he travels with his family, it’s a no brainer for him. For Maine Mendoza, being one of the most influential celebrities in the country today, she needs to have a break from this “chaotic” world. Traveling is some sort of an oasis for Mendoza. On the other hand, Nico Bolzico is a breath of fresh air. Bolzico has also aligned himself with Shell as he shares the same advocacies with the company to “make the future greener.” He also pointed out how he was impressed with Shell’s various partnerships with Plastic Bank and its role in the Global Road Safety Partnership Philippines.
