Hope Worldwide Philippines, together with mother-and-son celebrity advocates, Angel Jones and Tony Labrusca, recently conducted a gift-giving activity to children of a small community in Binan, Laguna. The mother-son partnership with the foundation began in 2001.
It was a day of fun-filled activities and games, which brought smiles and happiness to around fifty children.
“Every time I come here, it’s a special moment. I have something big to take back home with me when I go to the real world. Every time I see the kids smiling just because we’re here that’s what makes me happy,” shared Pinoy Boy Band Superstar finalist, Tony Labrusca.
“I believe that it is our responsibility as human beings to help other people. I don’t think my life would complete if I knew that I didn’t contribute to the well-being of other people,” said Angel Jones, former Kulay band member.
Jones added that giving inspiration is one of their personal advocacies.
“We are happy for Tony and Angel’s dedication in supporting the needs of the children,” said Moises Jun Velasco, Executive Director of Center of Hope Worldwide, Philippines.
“HOPE Worldwide Philippines is a child protection agency.
