Last February 18, 2024, ARMY (mostly known as the biggest fandom of the most popular group, BTS) was treated into lots of contents as they celebrated the groups main rapper, Jung Hoseok aka JHope’s 30th Birthday.
JHope, who’s currently serving his mandatory military service, posted a heartwarming message for their fans on Weverse, an interactive app for idols and fans created by Hybe (BTS label) thanking them for celebrating his birthday around the world even though they’re currently on hiatus. JHope also expressed how thankful he is for all the birthday posters and greetings around Seoul and to his own hometown, Gwangju.
ARMY, was known to celebrate every members birthday by trending lots of hashtag, and gathering into cafes for cup sleeve birthday event dedicated to the member.
Later that day, JHope also posted a series of picture of him on his personal IG Account with 48.9 Million followers. JHope teases fans with him posing in front of fans gift for him including a park with his name on it. Also he posted a photo of him with his military friends.
BTS members are all currently serving on their own designated camp, but they didn’t forget to greet their sunshine member a happy birthday, including RM and Jin.
It is also usual for the BTS Members to surprise ARMY with a gift during their birthday and this time, JHope surprisingly announced his new album, “Hope On The Street Vol.1” to be released on March 29, 2024 together with a new documentary series on Prime Video, premiering March 28.
Their fans, ARMY, are currently counting days for members release from military, with Jin coming back on June 12, 2024 and followed by JHope himself, on October 17, also this year.
