GCash from Globe Telecom, Inc a.k.a Globe, has been the Philippines leading mobile wallet which recently signed a partnership with SPi Global and Pay Mongo.
GCash is an app that be can installed on your smartphone. It can be use to pay bills, shop, send or receive money and buy or borrow load. Currently, GCash has 20 million users and more than 50,000 partner merchants.
SPi Global with GCash
The aim of GCash partnership with SPi Global, is to enable the company’s employees to receive rewards and incentives through GCash PowerPay+.
SPi Global is a market-leading content technology and content solutions enterprise that provides data services and subject matter expertise (SME) to multiple industries such as research, learning and education, finance, healthcare and life sciences, media and retail, and other corporate.
SPi Global offices in the country had already implemented a cashless system for its in-house cafeterias through GCash.
“Providing disbursement solutions to companies is among the commitments of GCash. By assisting businesses with the payroll solution we offer, we embed their employees to the possibilities of mobile finance,” GCash chief commercial officer for transfers Fred Levy said.
With GCash now providing disbursement solutions to SPi Global, the two companies have advanced their partnership to offer more options in cash management for employees.
“This partnership demonstrates the continuous commitment of SPi Global to make life better for its employees. With GCash’s PowerPay+, we can now easily disburse portions of allowances, benefits, and incentives to our employees. More than that, it opens them to a diverse set of financial services which the app offers,” SPi Global chief people officer Marie Ampeloquio said.
PayMongo with GCash
Meanwhile, GCash has also teamed up with PayMongo to provide an expanded mobile payments platform for micro-, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in the country.
GCash is now live on the PayMongo site as a payment method for thousands of online sellers.
