MANILA, Philippines — Onscreen partners Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano have confirmed that their upcoming film “Tayo Sa Wakas” will be their last project together as a love team—for now.
During a recent appearance on Bianca Gonzalez’s podcast “Paano Ba ‘To?!”, the popular tandem, known as DonBelle, opened up about their decision to temporarily step back from working together onscreen after several successful projects since 2021.
Donny said the move was a mutual decision after years of doing back-to-back collaborations.

“We’ve done so many projects throughout the years. Me and Belle decided that for this specific movie, it will be our last DonBelle project for now,” he shared.
Belle echoed the sentiment, saying the decision was made to allow both of them to grow individually as artists and as people.
“It was a mutual decision… the time apart would allow us to grow, actually find what we want, find who we are, and come back as better people,” she explained.
The two admitted that the transition is not easy, especially while they are currently filming “Tayo Sa Wakas”, which they described as a meaningful project in their journey as a pair.

“Siguro we’re just at a point where we’re choosing to support each other through this and each other’s growth,” Donny said, adding that they are still in the middle of shooting the film.
Belle also emphasized that despite the uncertainty of when they will work together again, they remain grateful for their shared experience as a love team.
Their final film together for now, “Tayo Sa Wakas”, directed by Cathy Garcia-Sampana, is set for release in Philippine cinemas on May 27, 2026.
Since their breakout as a love team, Donny and Belle have starred in multiple hit projects including “He’s Into Her,” “Love Is Color Blind,” “An Inconvenient Love,” “Can’t Buy Me Love,” and “How to Spot a Red Flag.”
Despite the temporary pause in their tandem, both stars assured fans that their support for each other remains unchanged as they pursue individual paths moving forward.
