Fans of P-pop group ALAMAT are set to celebrate the group’s fifth anniversary with a fan-led cultural event that highlights Filipino heritage, creativity, and community.
Titled “DE5TINO: Malayo Pa Pero Malayo Na,” the celebration will take place on March 28, 2026 at the NHCP Presidential Car Museum in Quezon Memorial Circle, Quezon City. The venue holds special significance for fans as it was also the site of the group’s first magazine cover shoot in 2021.
Organized by Magiliw Official, the official fanbase of ALAMAT, the whole-day event continues the fandom’s tradition of supporting the group’s advocacy for promoting Filipino culture through “edutainment,” combining celebration with learning experiences.

ALAMAT has distinguished itself in the local music scene by integrating Filipino languages, regional identities, and cultural narratives into its music and storytelling. The group marked its fifth anniversary on February 14, a milestone referenced in “LuzViMinda,” the hero track of their latest album Destino.
Over the years, the group has cultivated a dedicated following known as “Magiliw,” many of whom organize creative and community-driven initiatives inspired by ALAMAT’s advocacy. These include educational discussions and workshops on ethnic musical instruments, indigenous textiles, Philippine history and folk literature, as well as local cuisine.
For many fans, the fandom has grown into a supportive community beyond music.
“Isang naibigay sa ‘kin ng ALAMAT na mananatili sa puso ko at importante sa akin ay ‘yung community na natagpuan ko within the fandom,” said Kayo, a Magiliw since 2023. “Tatlong taon na ako dito sa fandom, and I really cherish the friends that I have met. These are the people who share the same passion about music, art, and other things in life and beyond ALAMAT na ‘yung nabuo naming samahan.”.”
As part of the program, the event will feature “Sa Kabila ng mga Palakpakan: Conversations on Craft, Community, and Creative Freedom,” a panel discussion with speakers from various creative fields, including individuals who have worked closely with the group.

Attendees will also take part in a learning session on ethnic musical instruments led by members of the fandom, offering a hands-on introduction to indigenous music traditions.
The event will also feature interactive booths, a fan-led exhibit, and merchandise from independent creators, along with segments celebrating ALAMAT’s music and its impact on the growing P-pop movement. The celebration will culminate with performances from the group, showcasing tracks that reflect their growth as artists and producers.
As ALAMAT marks its fifth year in the music industry, DE5TINO reflects how the fandom continues to journey alongside the group—embracing Filipino culture while building a vibrant community rooted in creativity, learning, and shared identity.
The event is organized by Magiliw Official and presented by JuanCast PH and Cheers Philippines.
