ALABANG, MUNTINLUPA — The Filinvest City Events Grounds ignited last March 14, 2026, as the world’s No. 1 extra-strong beer hosted the highly anticipated 2025 Red Horse Beer Pambansang Muziklaban Grand Finals. In a high-octane showdown, the country’s premier rising talents battled for rock supremacy, but it was Davao City’s very own TAMAD SI JUAN that ultimately emerged to claim the coveted throne of Pinoy Rock.
For the band, the victory felt like a hard-won floral tribute after a grueling journey. “It feels like we were showered with roses,” shared drummer Marc Lois Vistal. “Despite the struggles and challenges, we felt we deserved this. Every band here deserved it, but we are incredibly blessed to take the win.”

Alongside Vistal, the powerhouse lineup included vocalist Reg Twostone, lead guitarist Kram Noiz, rhythm guitarist Shed Jabinez, and bassist Jepax Jaso. The victory was especially sweet given their long travels from the south. “We are grateful for what we achieved tonight. We came from so far away, but every kilometer was worth it,” expressed Jabinez. The band walked away with a massive Php1 million cash prize and the prestigious title of 2025 Red Horse Beer Pambansang Muziklaban Grand Champion.
The road to the finals was no easy feat. Following a rigorous preliminary elimination process last year, the field was narrowed down to the “cream of the rock crop” from across the archipelago. TAMAD SI JUAN faced fierce competition from VDS (Quezon City), BAGUIO GOLD MUSIC (Baguio City), HILO (Cabuyao, Laguna), and THEMATA (Tacloban City).

Beyond the trophy, the band emphasized the importance of the platform. “Red Horse Beer Pambansang Muziklaban is a massive gateway for musicians,” Vistal enthused. “It’s a way for us to prove ourselves because the preparation from the eliminations to the finals is no joke. We hope Red Horse never tires of facilitating this battle of the bands.”
The night was also a celebration of OPM legends, featuring iconic performances from Greyhoundz, Wilabaliw, Urbandub, Kjwan, Razorback, Typecast, Chocolate Factory, Setsuna, and past Muziklaban champions, Mayonnaise.

Meanwhile, the fans—the lifeblood of the event—had their voices heard through the Rakista People’s Choice Award. BAGUIO GOLD MUSIC from Baguio City proved to be the crowd favorite, taking home a trophy and cases of Red Horse Beer to celebrate their successful run.
