Kathryn Bernardo is set to make a much-anticipated return to Philippine television alongside James Reid in the upcoming drama series Someone, Someday, according to the newly released teaser trailer.
The one-minute teaser, launched on December 14 by Dreamscape Entertainment, introduces Bernardo and Reid in key roles, marking their first onscreen collaboration in a primetime series.
Directed by Chad Vidanes and Dolly Dulu, Someone, Someday centers on two childhood friends whose bond grows complicated when secrets and deeper emotional conflicts begin to surface. The teaser’s voiceover — “Life isn’t always easy. We all need someone…” — hints at mystery and interpersonal struggles that go beyond a conventional romance.
The drama also stars Maja Salvador, whose character appears tied to a storyline involving admiration and darker intentions toward Bernardo’s role. Other cast members featured in the teaser include Dimples Romana, Rita Avila, Ryan Eigenmann, Jake Ejercito, Kat Galang, Gela Atayde, and Rowell Santiago.
Someone, Someday not only signifies Bernardo’s television comeback — her last series was 2 Good 2 Be True in 2022 — but also marks Reid’s first TV project since Till I Met You in 2016. This has generated buzz among fans eager to see the unexpected pairing, often dubbed “KathReid.”
Dreamscape has not yet announced the official premiere date, but the series is expected to be part of the network’s 2026 lineup.
