P-pop boy group ALAMAT is officially entering a new musical era with the release of their latest single “LuzViMinda”, a powerful anthem that celebrates Filipino identity while setting the stage for their highly anticipated full-length album “Destino,” dropping on November 21.
“LuzViMinda,” which takes its name from the country’s three main island groups—Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao—embodies the group’s mission to showcase the beauty of regional diversity in the Philippines. The track continues ALAMAT’s commitment to incorporating local languages and culture into modern pop music, a hallmark that has made them one of the most distinct acts in the P-pop scene.
According to Billboard Philippines, the group’s very own Alas produced the track, while member Jao took charge of the choreography, crafting the song’s striking chorus moves as early as June. “’Yung pinerform namin ngayon, ’yun ’yung hero track sa album namin. Handa na ba kayo para sa album namin?” Jao told the crowd, hinting at the excitement surrounding their new era.
