P-pop boy group ALAMAT is officially entering a new musical era with the release of their latest single “LuzViMinda”, a powerful anthem that celebrates Filipino identity while setting the stage for their highly anticipated full-length album “Destino,” dropping on November 21.
“LuzViMinda,” which takes its name from the country’s three main island groups—Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao—embodies the group’s mission to showcase the beauty of regional diversity in the Philippines. The track continues ALAMAT’s commitment to incorporating local languages and culture into modern pop music, a hallmark that has made them one of the most distinct acts in the P-pop scene.

According to Billboard Philippines, the group’s very own Alas produced the track, while member Jao took charge of the choreography, crafting the song’s striking chorus moves as early as June. The single’s music video, set to premiere on November 9, is expected to feature ALAMAT’s signature fusion of traditional and contemporary Filipino elements—an aesthetic that has earned them praise both locally and internationally.

The release of “LuzViMinda” also marks the countdown to ALAMAT’s next major project, Destino. The upcoming album has been more than a year in the making and represents a creative evolution for the group. During a recent live event in Bacolod, ALAMAT teased the album by performing an unreleased “hero track,” giving fans a glimpse of what’s to come.
“’Yung pinerform namin ngayon, ’yun ’yung hero track sa album namin. Handa na ba kayo para sa album namin?” Jao told the crowd, hinting at the excitement surrounding their new era.

“Destino” is described as a bold step forward—one that highlights ALAMAT’s artistic growth while staying true to their identity. The publication notes that the group’s new era will build upon their strengths: multilingual lyricism, regional pride, and a sound that bridges modern pop with deep cultural roots.
Since their debut, ALAMAT has stood out for breaking language barriers by performing songs that incorporate Tagalog, Ilocano, Kapampangan, Bikolano, Hiligaynon, Waray, and Bisaya. Their past releases, including the critically praised Isapuso, established them as cultural ambassadors who proudly represent the Filipino spirit in the global pop arena.

With “LuzViMinda,” the group not only honors that legacy but also reaffirms their vision of unity through diversity. The song serves as both a tribute to the richness of the Philippine islands and a declaration of where ALAMAT is headed next—toward a destiny shaped by heritage, innovation, and purpose.
As anticipation builds for the November 21 release of “Destino,” fans can expect ALAMAT to deliver a mix of dynamic performances and heartfelt storytelling that celebrates what it truly means to be Filipino in the modern age.
