“Ok na ok sa amin yung URC Flour’s Bida sa Masa 2025 since this is going to be a platform for our students and graduates to join. And true to Mayor Vico’s kind of governance, na PARTICIPATORY and INCLUSIVE”, said Corinna V. Bugawan, Division Head Officer, Pasig City Institute of Science and Technology . “We have proven before as we have students who won the previous Bida sa Masa. And now that we have a more exciting propgram, baka we can commit 100 participants” added Ms. Bugawan in jest.
The involvement of PCIST signals a strong focus on highlighting culinary arts and food technology. With PCIST offering courses in areas like Food Processing, Bread and Pastry Production, and even Cookery, their students are well-equipped to contribute meaningfully to an event centered around flour-based products and community engagement.
This collaboration presents a valuable opportunity for PCIST students to step outside the classroom and demonstrate their competencies to a wider audience. Whether through live baking demonstrations, interactive workshops on food preparation, or showcasing innovative uses of URC Flour products, the event will provide a platform for hands-on learning and real-world application of their skills.
