Two decades after their heartfelt ballads first echoed through our radios and CD players, Norwegian pop duo M2M—Marit Larsen and Marion Raven—have returned to the Philippines, rekindling the magic of the early 2000s. Their “The Better Endings Tour” is not just a concert series; it’s a nostalgic journey for fans who grew up with their music.

Originally slated for a single performance on May 1, 2025, at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City, overwhelming demand led to the addition of a second show on May 2 at the same venue. Tickets ranged from ₱900 to ₱5,800 and were available through TicketNet outlets and online platforms.

The duo’s reunion was first hinted at on September 22, 2024, when they posted an acoustic rendition of “The Day You Went Away” on Instagram, captioned with the poignant line, “Let’s give this story a better ending.” This surprise came 22 years after they parted ways to pursue solo careers.
This tour coincides with the 25th anniversary of their debut album, Shades of Purple, a record that introduced hits like “Pretty Boy,” “Mirror Mirror,” and “Don’t Say You Love Me” to the world. The duo’s recent social media teaser—a heartfelt rendition of “The Day You Went Away”—ignited a wave of nostalgia, signaling their return to the music scene.

Following their Manila performances, M2M extended their tour to reach fans across the Philippines. They performed at the SMX Convention Center in Davao on May 3 and at the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino on May 4, 2025. Tickets for these shows went on sale on November 16, 2024, via SM Tickets.
Reflecting on their journey, Marion shared, “It was never a question of where we’d start our tour if we ever reunited—Asia was always the first choice. Some of our best memories are from there.” Marit added, “Let’s give this story a better ending. The ending it deserves. We truly can’t wait to see you (again)”

For many, M2M’s return is more than a musical event; it’s a heartfelt reunion with the songs that soundtracked their youth. As the duo takes the stage once more, they invite fans to relive cherished memories and create new ones, proving that some melodies—and the emotions they evoke—are truly timeless.
As the concert dates approach, fans are preparing to relive the melodies that once defined their youth. M2M’s return is more than a performance; it’s a heartfelt reunion with an audience that has waited 22 years for this moment.
Thank you for this reunion, M2M!
