This collaboration marked Barbie’s first-ever partnership with a Filipino beauty brand, a testament to the surging influence and creative spirit of the Philippine beauty industry.
For Lovely Causemetics, a Filipino local brand known for its commitment to empowerment and self-expression, the collaboration found a kindred spirit in Barbie™, a symbol that had evolved to represent inclusivity, diversity, and the boundless potential of women.
“This collaboration was incredibly special to us. We were approached by Barbie™, and it had been our pride at Lovely Causemetics to be chosen by a global brand,” shared Lovely Geniston, CEO of Lovely Causemetics.
“This collaboration underscored Barbie’s first-ever partnership with a local Philippine beauty brand, combining global inspiration with local artistry. With this partnership, we wanted to create a collection that celebrated the unique beauty and strength of Filipinas. It was about empowering every individual to embrace their individuality and pursue their passions,” said Geniston.
The Barbie™ x Lovely Causemetics collection was a vibrant celebration of both brands’ aesthetics. It featured a range of meticulously crafted products that blended high-quality formulations with playful shades and hues.
Attendees had the chance to achieve an instant radiant glow with the Glass Glow Pressed Highlighter & Powder Blush. The ultra-fine highlighter texture allowed customization of shine, while the universally flattering pink blush delivered a youthful glow.
Available shades included Sparkle Queen and Pop Culture.
Another part of the Barbie™ x Lovely Causemetics collection was the Soft Glow Cream Blush, a creamy, pigmented formula that added a soft, natural glow to cheeks. This multitasking blush doubled as a lip and lid tint, perfect for on-the-go touch-ups.
Lining up the collection was the Water Glowy Tint, a juicy, high-shine lip tint with a comfortable, non-sticky formula that kept lips hydrated and soft all day.
Light color with warm undertones shades were available in Girlhood, Pink Princess, Fairytopia, Ballerina, Ribbon, and Charm color.

The event was witnessed by a lively crowd dressed in pink, donning their own Barbie-inspired outfits, including media personnel and influencers who gathered to celebrate this momentous occasion.
