Fans of Pinoy’s jukebox king and one of OPM’s icon, rejoice! A film about the life of OPM icon April Boy Regino is in the works.
This was confirmed by his son JC Regino, during his promotion of his new single “Wala Na”.
The film was supposed to be recorded when April Boy was still alive.
JC also mentioned that they are now in search of who will portray the role of his late father April Boy. “As of now po, nagkakaroon na po sila ng search kung sino po yung gaganap sa buhay ni dad [April Boy], JC said.
JC jokingly said that he would be honored to portray his dad’s life but the catch is he looks like his mom.
