The Clark International Airport Corporation (CIAC) has successfully retained its ISO 9001:2015 certification, reaffirming its commitment to international quality standards. CIAC President Arrey Perez highlighted the effectiveness of CIAC’s management system, emphasizing its role in achieving corporate objectives and advancing infrastructure development projects at the Clark civil aviation complex.
The third-party recertification audit, conducted by certifying body TÜV Rheinland on November 28, validated CIAC’s conformity to ISO 9001:2015 standards. The audit team found no non-conformities, providing nine positive findings and identifying 11 Opportunities for Improvement. This recognition showcases CIAC’s continuous efforts to align its operations with global quality assurance and business standards.
ISO 9001:2015 is an international standard dedicated to quality management systems, emphasizing processes, resources, assets, and values that exceed customer expectations while promoting organizational efficiency and continual improvement.
CIAC, tasked with developing and managing the civil aviation complex in Clark, has been ISO certified since 2010. Initially certified for its International Passenger Facilitation Process, the scope of certification now extends to cover CIAC’s estate management business following the privatization of the airport. CIAC remains committed to capacity-building for its personnel, ensuring continuous improvement and excellence in providing quality service.
