Telecommunications company Eastern Communications is upgrading its partnership with cable TV operators to support the growing connectivity demand of customers throughout the country. The offer was highlighted during the recent PCTA Connect webinar, where Eastern Communications in collaboration with Philippine Cable and Telecommunications Association, Inc. (PCTA) discussed the topic, “Shifts in Expectations and Consumer Outlook in the Now Normal”
Eastern Communications offers cable TV operators a specialized internet direct service (IDS).
Through this expansion this allows the company more Cable TV Operators to have access to this IDS variant in various location nationwide. Easter Communications has made them available in Tuguegarao, Iloilo, Davao, and CDO with further expansion plans in many other locations
The company s said it continues to expand into key strategic locations across the country to better serve customers..
“Eastern will continue expanding in new locations while strengthening our partnership with cable TV operators and of course with PCTA (Philippine Cable and Telecommunications Association) in the next few years. These partnerships will play a crucial role in addressing the challenges of Internet accessibility throughout the country,” Eastern Communications head of sales Michael Castaneda said.
“Our synergies with the PCTA and its members have allowed us to come up with a one-of-a-kind internet solution tailor-fit for cable TV providers. We both share in the same vision of seeing families better connected and seeing businesses prosper,” Eastern Communications’ head of product and innovation Edsel Paglinawan said.
