The new balance is doing their part in this pandemic crisis. The shoe company announced that it will produce protective masks.
“The global COVID-19 health crisis has called on individuals and organizations to bring their expertise and resources to solve new and extraordinary challenges. New Balance has engaged a portion of its skilled and innovative U.S. manufacturing workforce to develop face masks to address the significant demand for these supplies,” the spokeswoman said.
New Balance shared an image on social media to publicize the news. Written below ” Made shoes yesterday. Making masks today”.
New Balance has often been praised for its US-based production, which they say surpasses 4 million pairs of sneakers annually stateside.
