The infamous eruption of the Taal volcano last January 2020 had swept billion of pesos worth of damages in Batangas. Totalling thousands of people and animals have been displaced and evacuated following a hazardous ash-fall. Currently, it is still been under the state of calamity due to the continuous activity of the volcano and the possibility of eruptions that may still occur.
Many fellow Filipinos individuals and groups graciously offered assistance to the people of Batangas, and one of them is ARC Refreshments Corporation, makers of RC Cola.
ARC Refreshments Corporation, have been the makers of RC Cola in the Philippines. RC Cola is originated in America with 100 years of history and the top best seller of ARC Refreshments Corp. Now they currently offer not only RC Cola but also Juicy Lemon, Fruit Soda Orange, Seetrus, Arcy’s Rootbeer, Rite n Lite, Alon.
Their donation of 1,900 cases or 22,800 bottles of beverages have been offered to Department of Science and Technology in Tagaytay City, Batangas City Stadium, Bauan Technical High School, Alitagtag Police Station and the St. Padre Pio Shrine in Sto. Thomas.

ARC Refreshment’s latest donation was conducted on January 19 in collaboration with Ang Lingkod ng Bayan, Batangas Branch. They donated 200 cases of Alon and 200 cases of RC Cola were relief goods consisting of blankets, rice, canned goods, and hygiene kits. A total of 3 trucks and four pick-up vehicles which been delivered to San Jose and San Luis, Batangs.
The efforts from generous individuals and groups like ARC have been a great help. It brings new hope and smiles as families try to recover.
