Damosa Land Inc (DLI) is going to spend up to ₱4 Billion for the first phase of an 88-hectare agri-tourism development in Davao del Norte.
The amount is allocated for the first phase of an agricultural themed township project, which located in Agriya at Panabo, Davao del Norte.
Ricardo Floirendo Lagdameo head of DLI said, “Davao being really the center of agriculture in the Philippines or Mindanao being center of agriculture, there is not really that many agri-tourism projects to go to…When people say they’re coming to Davao, where can we go, this is one of the places we want to promote.”
Apart from the agro-tourism site, Agriya’s first phase development involves in building residential projects, commercial spaces and an educational institution.
For the residential project, the company is offering house and lots for high-end market and started pre-selling, costing around ₱15 million each.
Educational Institution, the company have partnered with the University of the Philippines (UP) Los Banos. to set up a school for teaching agri-related courses.
DLI saw an opportunity to cater this part of the market as no other company were able to offer such products to meet the demand. Making the project as first of its kind in the country.
