The Department of Tourism (DOT) partnered with Google Philippines to help local businesses develop their online presence.
Said department will become the first Google My Business (GMB) Trusted Verifier in the country.
As a GMB Trusted Verifier, the DOT can easily verify DOT-accredited enterprises. This will make said enterprises searchable in Google maps and other apps. This, in turn, wil boost their online visibility.
Managers and owners can also view insights directly from their Business Profile on Google My Business. This shows them how often their profile has been viewed, and use profile view insights to track how popular their business is with current and potential customers.
Google My Business is a free and easy tool for online business management. The app allows you to see how much views your profiles get, insights, and many more.
It also allows businesses to create a mobile website for free, with customized themes, photos, and text.
