Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) expects heavy traffic today, November 14. This is after scheduling a traffic simulation scheme in preparation for upcoming Southeast Asian Games 2019. Said simulation will be from 2:PM to 4PM.
A Stop and Go Scheme will be implemented in the areas of Metro Manila, Clark, Subic, and Tagaytay, all heading for the Philippine Arena. These are areas where the convoys will be coming from.
The traffic scheme enforces regular motorists to stop when the convoys of athletes and delegates would pass through said areas. Consequently, roads will not be closed during the simulation.
MMDA Spokesperson Celina Pialogo said to anticipate traffic build-up during the traffic simulation and the rehearsal of the SEA games on November 26.
